Job description

Our client, a PR and consulting firm, is looking for a temporary Sr. Human Resources Manager to support their office. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have the ability to maintain a high level of discretion, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role starts asap and will last for about 6 months, covering a leave.

Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm

*Hybrid

Location: Midtown

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted coach and advisor to leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Manage the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
  • Lead talent initiatives, including reporting, DEI, and mentor programs.
  • Execute projects with strong management skills, ensuring timely milestones, prioritization, and escalation when needed.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on performance and talent management.
  • Collaborate with HR & Americas leadership to design development plans.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership, HR, Recruiting, and specialized teams.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance the employee experience and efficiency.
  • Stay informed on trends and propose innovative solutions for healthy organizations and teams.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations in partnership with Legal.
  • Mentor HR team members and foster a high-performing culture.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including job descriptions and promotion letters.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in HR.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, strong sense of urgency.
  • Detail oriented, with advanced organizational and time management skills.
