Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team in Olyphant for a temporary basis. This position is pivotal in managing a wide array of human resources and administrative functions but mainly focusing on recruitment, and immigration process. The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor to our culture and will excel in areas such as employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate talent acquisition efforts, including managing job postings, organizing recruitment events, and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee the pre-employment process, including background checks and necessary screenings.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from various stakeholders and elevate complex issues appropriately.
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation, ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems and compliance through periodic audits.
  • Maintain HR and recruitment metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support managers with performance evaluations to align with business objectives, ensuring timely and guideline-compliant submissions.
  • Assist in the creation and enforcement of HR policies.
  • Conduct exit interviews and suggest corrective measures when necessary.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities across various HR domains including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting, with at least one year of high-volume recruiting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday, and time and attendance systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to growth within the organization.
