Temporary HR Coordinator

Van Cleef and Arpels | New York, NY

Reports to: AVP of HR

For this temporary position, we are looking for the ideal candidate who has2-3 years Human Resources experience. Experience and knowledge across all HR functions to assist in enhancing business performance is ideal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, notably Excel, PowerPoint and Word; SAP experience is a plus.

What are we expecting from you?

We are seeking a Temporary-HR Coordinator to join our team for an appx. 6-month opportunity, supporting the Human Resources team. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role will beresponsible for support to the HR team for Preboarding, Onboarding, People Analytics, NSPO (Non-Stock Purchase Orders) activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Updates Associate information (e.g., terminations, status changes, reporting structure) in HRIS and other systems and maintains employee-related files
  • Maintains administrative duties related to accurate people data for expense allocation and reporting purposes
  • Support in the analysis of data from various reports, extrapolating relevant data for the business
  • Communicate leave of absence and benefits processes
  • Support payroll inquiries related to Dayforce, earned time, holiday pay, etc
  • Assist with managing offer process by inputting offer details, confirming start dates, coordinating background checks when needed, and assist new hires in completing tasks.
  • Manage NSPOs for HR; collaborate with Finance and Procurement for PO setup.
  • Support onboarding initiatives for new hires: Send onboarding guidelines to hiring managers, arrange onboarding gifts for all new hires, coordinate Welcome Lunches, administer I-9 process and badge setup
