Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity is a plus!).
  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.

Job Title: HR Coordinator
Location: Atlanta, GA - Remote

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our growing team by handling a variety of administrative tasks related to onboarding, compliance, HRIS management, and employee experience. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting people operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

o Coordinate onboarding tasks including background checks, I-9 verification, and system setup

o Support offboarding processes including exit paperwork and offboarding logistics

HRIS & Record Maintenance

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems

o Ensure compliance with documentation, audits, and regulatory requirements

Employee Experience & Communication

o Respond to employee HR inquiries with professionalism and discretion

o Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs

Compliance & Policy Administration

o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

o Assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbook

Qualifications

· 1–2 years of HR/People experience or administrative support in a professional setting

· Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity is a plus!)

· Understanding of HR best practices and employment laws (multi-state a plus)

· Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, preferred but not required

· Passion for fitness and wellness
