GENERAL DUTIES
Completes non-teaching projects or complex work in support of a Campus or University administrative or academic department. This work is generally of a temporary nature and requires specialized experience or expertise.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Human Resources, the incumbent supports the onboarding process for candidates entering various roles across the campus. This position is responsible for adhering to College and CUNY policies, assisting with recruitment processes, and participating in special projects and initiatives as needed.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following duties:
• Participates and facilitates the active recruiting, hiring and onboarding of FT and PT managerial and professional new hires respective positions within Bronx Community College.
• Efficiently tracks and monitors the applicant onboarding process from first contact through commencement of employment
• Works closely with division and departmental staff, as well as other campus stakeholders, with vacancies within their classification and need
• Coordinate HR processes with various other departments and Central Payroll
• Posts open vacancies, and processing new hire paperwork and facilitating background checks.
• Facilitates all personnel actions for new hires, salary increases, new hire onboarding, and various other status and payroll changes
• Provides information as needed on employment policy, practice and procedure
• Knowledge of HR Technology
• Ability to interact with faculty and staff in a cooperative and collaborative manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Proven experience leading and managing recruitment processes within a campus environment within education preferred
• A strong work ethic and character with a high degree of personal integrity to work with the utmost discretion
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard employee information, and handle all documents with sensitivity is a must
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is required. Knowledge of CUNYFirst, Microsoft Teams preferred
COMPENSATION
50.41 per hour
