Job summary

taproduce is seeking a Temporary HR Associate to serve as the welcoming first contact for employees, applicants, guests, and visitors. You will support recruiting, onboarding, data entry, and maintaining accurate employee records while upholding confidentiality and a culture of service.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual English/Spanish, have an Associate's degree and HR experience, and possess strong communication and organizational skills to handle diverse HR tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual and bi-literate in English and Spanish.
• Associate's degree and a minimum of two years of HR related work experience.
• Superior written and verbal interpersonal skills to communicate with employees and stakeholders.
• Ability to solve practical problems with varying variables and limited standardization.
• Familiarity with Excel functions and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employees, applicants, guests and visitors.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to appropriate team members.
• Support HR functions: policies, benefits, payroll, recruiting, employee relations.
• Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork and HR system registration.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
• Data entry, HRIS updates, and employment/unemployment verifications.
• Contribute to department meetings and process improvements.
• Stay updated on company policies and HR best practices.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide general administrative support and handle mail and supplies.
• Guide employees to HR resources and respond to inquiries.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and flexibility for evening/weekend support.
