Job summary

The National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux is seeking a Temporary Housing Caseworker to support clients in the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury areas who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The role is home-based, working with our Housing Specialist and reporting to the Health Projects Manager.

You will advise on income maximisation, energy, budgeting and debt to help clients improve their financial position and access entitlements.

• Hours per week: Preferably full time (37), but part time would be considered

North & West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice (N&WGCA) provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice and information to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We are looking for a Temporary Housing Caseworker to support clients in the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury areas who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The role will be home-based, working closely with and supporting our Housing Specialist. You will report to our Health Projects Manager.

Alongside housing advice and support, you will provide advice on income maximisation, energy, budgeting and debt, helping clients to improve their financial position and access the support they are entitled to.
