Job Overview

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests and complete registration: input and retrieve information, confirm details, assign rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing, provide welcome packets, and assist with luggage if needed.
  2. Assist with check-out: ensure accurate billing, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, convert foreign currency, and manage gift certificates.
  3. Knowledge of hotel offerings: understand room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area information to answer guest inquiries.
  4. Upselling: promote hotel services and facilities to maximize occupancy.
  5. Respond to guest requests and complaints: resolve issues promptly and efficiently, conduct research if needed.
  6. Message handling: receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.
