Job summary

The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) in New York City seeks a Central Administration Analyst within the Office of Finance and Administration (OFA) to support accounts payable/receivable operations and vendor management for Section 8 and HOME-ARP related activities.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above.
High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above.

Responsibilities

Register Section 8 and HOME-ARP funded Development landlords in the City’s Financial Management System (FMS).
Ensure accurate vendor onboarding and compliance with administrative requirements.
Verify vendor registration and maintain landlord validation spreadsheets.
Prepare and submit vendor documents for internal approvals and functional validation.
Assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting of AP/AR activities.
