Job summary

NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development seeks a Central Administration Analyst to support the HAS and Central Administration. You will manage vendor onboarding for Section 8 and HOME-ARP funded properties, verify registrations, and coordinate internal approvals.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with fiscal teams in a fast-paced city agency environment. This is a temporary grant-funded position ending Sept 30, 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant community or program support experience.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with HPD Info and City Financial Management System (FMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register Section 8 and HOME-ARP funded Development landlords in FMS and ensure proper vendor onboarding.
• Verify vendor registrations are not already recorded and confirm ELITE EMPHASYS profiles.
• Perform TIN verification via IRS website and attach verification documents.
• Create/modify vendor documents in FMS and submit for internal approvals.
• Maintain landlord validation spreadsheets and update Owner Services Database with activities.
