Job summary

TSS is seeking a Temporary Program Officer to support a 25-person global health team in New York. The role combines hands-on operations with ownership of processes, systems, and data management.

The position is full-time, hybrid, six months with potential for permanent placement for the right fit. Two days per week onsite in Lower Manhattan, including Wednesdays.

Responsibilities include maintaining databases, developing workflows, coordinating logistics, and supporting the annual global summit.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in program operations and data management.
• Experience tracking large datasets and generating reports.
• Strong systems aptitude and familiarity with program management tools; Airtable experience is strongly desired.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program databases, calendars, trackers, and other operational information.
• Develop and document workflows, guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational and event systems.
• Administer program systems, maintain records, coordinate approvals, and troubleshoot.
• Track program data and generate reports using Excel, Airtable, and other tools.
• Coordinate contracting and vendor coordination, including translation and invoice processing.
• Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, and events.
• Support planning and logistics for a large annual global summit.
• Prepare briefing notes, letters, presentations, templates.
• Communicate with external stakeholders and respond to requests for information.
• Provide additional hands-on operational and administrative support.
