University of Michigan Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a CSR Staff Nurse (Temporary) for the PACU at the Brighton Center for Specialty Care. This role delivers direct patient care to pediatric and adult ambulatory surgical patients and may float across Pre-op, Phase I/II recovery, and short-stay units.

Shifts are day shifts as needed, with 24 hours per 4 week scheduling block. This onsite position requires Michigan RN licensure and ACLS/PALS certification, with preference for BSN.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.
• ACLS and PALS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric/adult ambulatory surgical populations and monitor vital signs.
• Float across units within CSR clusters as needed and participate in problem solving with the health care team.
• Share charge nurse responsibilities and ensure patient advocacy and safety.
