Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the PACU Float department in Michigan. The role offers a 24-hour workweek with a Midnight shift from 9:00pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends/holidays/call shifts and a $6,666 sign-on bonus.

Requires MI Board of Nursing licensure within 60 days, BLS (or Instructor) within 90 days, and graduation from an accredited RN program. Morning orientation and ongoing professional responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required, or Certified Instructor.
• Graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients.
• Demonstrates clinical competence, compassion and customer service orientation; focuses on process, outcomes, and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
