Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PACU Float position in Michigan. The role features a Midnight shift from 9:00pm to 7:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays, and is accompanied by market, weekend, and night shift premiums including a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule is 40 hours per week and located within our Detroit area network. Candidates must be licensed by the Michigan Board of Nursing, hold a BLS certification, and be a graduate of an approved RN

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing required (within 2 months).
• BLS Provider certification in Basic Life Support from AHA required (within 3 months) or Instructor.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent and independent nursing care.
• Apply the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
