Job summary

Alpha Supported Living Services in Bothell, WA seeks a Financial Services Coordinator (Temporary 3-4 months) to oversee participant finances and benefits. You will work with clients and staff to ensure accurate bill paying, cash handling, and financial planning within the agency’s guidelines.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Quicken. A relevant associate degree and experience in social services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Able to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with financial software like Excel and Quicken.
• Ability to organize financial records and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bill paying and check writing.
• Update and maintain clients' IFP annually.
• Prepare and submit financial reports and reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash and manage receipts.
• Coordinate with DDA and other program staff.
• Ensure leases and housing subsidies are updated.
