Alpha Supported Living Services in Bothell, WA seeks a Financial Services Coordinator (Temporary 3-4 months) to oversee participant finances and benefits. You will work with clients and staff to ensure accurate bill paying, cash handling, and financial planning within the agency’s guidelines.
The role requires basic accounting knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Quicken. A relevant associate degree and experience in social services are preferred.

Job Summary
The Financial Services Coordinator reports directly to the Financial Operations Manager and is responsible for the oversight and management of participant finances and other benefits. The Financial Services Coordinator interacts with program participants and so must be familiar with the Guiding Values issued by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). At all times, the Financial Services Supervisor will seek to act in accord with the principles and values expressed in the guidelines and uphold the agency mission.
Day-to-Day
Provide financial services that meet client needs and promote increased financial competence
Make entries as financial activity occurs and keep account records current
Maintain accurate and organized financial files for each client.
Provide training regarding staff roles within the client finance processes
Manage and account for petty cash funds
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients, their families and friends, DDA Case Management and other service providers
Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars; complete individual training requirements annually and maintain certifications and licensures, as required
Operate a personal vehicle on a regular basis; Maintain personal vehicle in a safe operating condition:
Perform other duties as needed or assigned on a daily basis

Starting Wage:
$27.00/hr
Wage Range:
$27.00 - $32.60
Benefits for Full-Time Employees (30 hours or more a week) includeMedical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) (non-profit version of a 401(k)) with company match, Life Insurance, Tuition Savings Program, and Tuition Reimbursement. Employees working 34 or more hours a week are eligible for PTO accrual.
