Centerboard Inc in Lynn, MA is seeking a Family Housing Advocate to provide case management, housing advocacy, and follow-up services to help families obtain safe, stable, permanent housing. The role covers EA shelter models and requires coordinating with shelter teams and service providers.

The position is temporary full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with possible extension. A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in human services, housing services, case management, or related programs is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess family needs and barriers and develop Re-Housing Plans to support stability.
• Complete intake and coordinate with supervisory and placement teams.
• Provide case management and advocacy for benefits, childcare, education, and referrals.
• Coordinate family conferences and collaborate with service providers to address housing barriers.
• Maintain family records in required databases and document progress.
• Identify housing opportunities and assist with applications and documentation.
• Conduct weekly unit inspections and report concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain communication with families and conduct weekly meetings to review progress.
