An established industry player is seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator II for its Solid Waste Division. This role involves skilled manual work in operating specialized and heavy equipment, performing construction and maintenance activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of public works vehicles. Candidates should have a high school diploma and three years of relevant experience, along with necessary licenses. Department: Department of Public Works- Solid Waste Division
Skilled manual work in the operation of specialized and heavy equipment and other public works vehicles and in performing construction and maintenance activities; all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and three years of experience in public works construction and maintenance activities including the operation of heavy and special equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL Class A drivers license required.
Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer's license required.
Additional Qualifications:
Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques. Working knowledge of required safety precautions.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions.
Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining all types of special and heavy equipment and trucks.
