About the role

The Assistant Control Room Operator leads and directs employees under general supervision, operates the facility, and must possess a Massachusetts Third Class Engineer's License* pursuant to chapter 146 of the M.G.L.

This role involves monitoring all plant systems continuously, responding to alarms as directed by the Control Room Operator, and taking appropriate corrective actions. The position also involves assisting in executing plant shutdown and start-up procedures, aiming to meet generating requirements while operating safely, environmentally efficiently, and productively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires Massachusetts Third Class Engineer's License* pursuant to chapter 146 of the M.G.L.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training preferred
• Must pass a job-related qualifying examination
