Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one of the listed educational options.
• Upon hire, complete the FCS-Paraeducator Certificate.
• Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support K-6 students in small groups and 1:1 instructional settings.
• Under Building Administrator direction, assist in the elementary educational process.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or higher

72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits (100 level or higher)

Pass reference assessments (ETS ParaPro, Para Pathways, Pearson, Master Teacher Paraeducator)
