Job summary

Snohomish School District in Snohomish, WA, is seeking paraeducators to support elementary students in health room and general classroom activities under the direction of the Building Administrator, teacher, and school nurse.

Paraeducator A and Paraeducator B roles offer part-time schedules (about 4.25 hours daily) with alternating shift patterns, benefits, and a competitive salary schedule based on state guidelines for 2026-27.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher.
• Pass one of the approved assessments: ETS ParaPro, Para Pathways, Pearson Paraprofessional, or Master Teacher Paraeducator Training.
• Upon hire, complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support the elementary educational process under supervision of the Building Administrator, classroom teacher, and school nurse.
• Assist with health room duties and student safety.
• Follow district policies and procedures to support students and staff.
