Job summary

FALCATA in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Temporary Assembler to support its production division. The role covers assembling electronic and electro-mechanical hardware to specifications and aiding in prototype and engineering model wiring.

Candidate will read wiring lists and drawings, use hand/power tools, and may train junior staff. Employment requires US citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1+ years of production and/or assembly experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and procedures to ensure components are assembled per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production hardware per workmanship standards and specs.
• Assist in development and wiring of engineering models and assembly methods and wire lists.
• Use hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and adjust components for proper fit.
• May train lower-level assemblers and interpret wiring lists using ECNs and schematics.
• Possibly rework test failures and operate prep/load/insert equipment.
