Job summary

Maricopa County is hiring Temporary Warehouse Drivers to support election operations. The role involves preparing and transporting equipment, delivering supplies to polling locations, and assisting with early voting tasks.

You will work in a warehouse environment and with a partner from another party to ensure accurate setup. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, AZ voter registration by hire, and a valid AZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be a registered voter in Arizona by time of hire.
• Must pass a background check.
• Able to work full shifts and irregular hours.
• Must have or obtain a valid Arizona driver's license.
• May be required to use a County vehicle and complete Defensive Driving Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepares election supplies in warehouse and supports receiving, stocking, and maintenance.
• Drives a 26-ft box truck with air brakes to deliver and pick up materials, phases as needed.
• Transports equipment to polling locations and vote centers.
• Works in two-person teams with a partner from a different political party.
• Ensures correct equipment delivery and setup according to checklists.
