Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Temporary Dining Assistant for Union Market at Ohio Union. The role supports Marketplace operations, serving students, staff and guests, greeting customers, and preparing coffee and specialty drinks.

Position is temporary (not to exceed 12 months) with a target hiring range of $18.00/hour. Hours: 40 per week, varying shifts; benefits described by OSU.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in Union Market.
• Operate coffee equipment and prepare espresso-based drinks.
• Handle food and beverage orders and collect payment.
• Take daily inventory and maintain a clean, sanitary service area.
