Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Fall Semester Temporary Sales Assistant to support the Student Life Dining Services operation on campus. You will greet customers, prepare coffee and snacks, handle food orders, and process payments while maintaining a clean, efficient service area.

This temporary role lasts up to 12 months with varying shifts; compliance with policies and completion of a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers, operate coffee equipment, and prepare gourmet coffee and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and handle food and beverage orders, collect payments by cash, credit or Buck ID.
• Prepare sales reports, take daily inventory, and stock shelves, freezers, and coolers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary service and work area.
• Follow established policies and procedures under the direction of the supervisor.
