Formación

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Job Summary

The Department of Counseling Rec and School of Psychology is currently seeking a Temporary Digital assistant to join their team of professionals.

Duties
  • monitoring student engagement and progress
  • conducting timely outreach to students who may be disengaging
  • facilitating virtual support hours
  • responding to routine course-process questions, referring students to appropriate faculty or University resources
  • Maintain confidential, accurate records of assigned sections, student outreach, support activities, referrals, and engagement trends
  • Prepare non-evaluative summaries of recurring student needs and course barriers to inform improvements in online-course communication, design, pacing, and support
  • Organize aggregate course-completion, retention, and progression information to help identify courses or learning activities where students may experience difficulties
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or a combination of relevant education and progressively responsible professional experience.
  • At least two years of experience in student services, academic support, case management, client services, program coordination, operations, healthcare coordination, human services, or a closely related setting.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring progress or performance indicators, maintaining confidential records, communicating with individuals who need timely support, and coordinating referrals or follow-up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically in an online environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and follow established procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, videoconferencing platforms, learning-management systems or comparable online platforms, and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain the confidentiality of student information in accordance with University requirements.

Temporary Disclosure

As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).
