Qualifications

Job Title: Temporary Dental Assistant

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19149

Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant role include:

• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures and other tasks when necessary.
• Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience - At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant OR completion of a Dental Assisting program. Training and/or education as a Dental Assistant. Dental office experience preferred.
• Licensure/Registry - Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state. Radiology Certification. CPR Certification.
