Heartland Dental's Dental Care at Grande Oak in Estero, FL is seeking a temporary Dental Assistant to join the team for a short-term assignment from November 20 to November 30, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a supportive, collaborative office environment.

As part of the Heartland Dental network, you will assist with patient greeting, health history reviews, x-ray processing, four-handed dentistry, Dentrix scheduling, and safety protocols under OSHA and

Formación

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience
• Dental x-ray certification per state requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and PHI protection
• Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them during treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room following OSHA & CDC safety protocols
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow
