Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Anoka 360 Life Center is seeking a FHPAP Data Entry Assistant. This temporary role focuses on accurate data entry into SIMS and HMIS, data verification, and responding to inquiries, with some document management responsibilities.

The position is time-limited to up to six months, 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday, located in Blaine, MN. Prior MIS experience is preferred; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with a management information system preferred.
• Must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated computer/internet literacy and typing accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and follow moderately complex instructions.
• Flexible interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of honor when handling confidential information.
• Works with integrity, honesty and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry into SIMS and HMIS (approx. 50%).
• Data verification for accuracy in SIMS/HMIS (20%).
• Respond to inquiries regarding entered data (15%).
• Document management and securing source documents (5%).
• Provide database support for SIMS and HMIS (5%).
• Coordinate technical support with SIMS/HMIS help desks (5%).
