Job summary

The Housekeeping/Custodial Worker at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality supports daily operations by keeping offices, shared spaces, restrooms, and break rooms clean and safe. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30–40 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Level II requires six months experience in custodial work or equivalent.
• Level III requires eighteen months experience in custodial work or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, shared spaces, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Perform daily trash removal, restroom cleaning, and restock supplies.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop, and perform floor maintenance.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, cubicles, fixtures, and wall-mounted items.
• Maintain stairwells, break rooms, and restrooms; follow safety procedures.
