Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, scrub, wash and polish floors and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize laboratories, washrooms and bedrooms; maintain supplies.
• Dispose of trash and move furniture as needed.
• Conduct sanitary inspections and assist in training lower-level workers.
• Plan, assign and supervise housekeeping functions; maintain records.
