Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certification through AMT as Registered Medical Assistant or current certification through AAMA as Certified Medical Assistant.
• Current BLS Provider CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake, document chief complaint, vitals, medication reconciliation in EHR.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered; assist with office-based procedures for GYN and primary care.
• Perform skills such as EKGs, ear lavage, wound care; apply DME and assist with chart reviews.
• Stock and prepare medical clinics for direct patient care per unit protocols; attend staff meetings.
• Complete unit-based training with passing scores at hire and annually, as applicable.
