Job summary

Raleigh Medical Group P.A. is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support our Gastroenterology team in the Wake Forest/GI clinic.

You will provide clinical support, patient education, and assist with GI procedures, coordinating care with physicians and staff. The ideal candidate has CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, at least one year of medical office experience, and proficiency with electronic health records in a fast-paced specialty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CMA or RMA certification from an accredited organization.
• Minimum one year of medical office or clinical experience.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support as directed by licensed staff.
• Room and prepare patients for examinations and GI-related procedures.
• Document patient histories, meds, allergies, vitals, and GI health information.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and minor treatments.
• Coordinate scheduling for GI procedures, tests, and referrals.
