Job summary

Everleap Fertility has a temporary opening for a Clinical Assistant in Basking Ridge, NJ, for 6 months. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 5:30am–1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Assistant supports physicians and the clinical team, assists with patient care, and ensures a positive patient experience through accurate documentation and efficient room preparation.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures
