Job summary

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette is seeking a temporary, part-time Medical Assistant to join the Beaverton Health Center team. You will help room patients, take vital signs, and support clinicians during exams, while ensuring a respectful, efficient patient experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced clinical setting. Spanish language skills are a plus and the schedule is 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit.
• Support providers during exams and procedures.
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing.
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments.
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease.
• Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly.
