Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and experience to obtain the teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Knowledge of subject matter and classroom management per state standards.
• Ability to communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan instructional lessons and assessments aligned with program objectives.
• Maintain attendance records, progress reports, and classroom records.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Coordinate field trips and participate in extra-curricular activities when needed.
