Job summary

Horizon Health and Rehabilitation Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Temporary Case Manager for a 6-week assignment, Monday through Friday. This temporary role offers an on-site schedule with competitive hourly pay.

The Case Manager will review medical necessity, coordinate care, and liaise with third-party payers. Required: 2+ years in case management; RN/LPN license preferred; Bachelor’s degree; case management certification preferred; reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Case Management Experience
• RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing with the state (as required) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (in a health-related field is preferred)
• Case Management Certification preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage benefit, utilization of services and resources
• Review to determine appropriateness and medical necessity, continued stay and the use of ancillary services using concurrent review process
• Work effectively developing, enhancing and maintaining relationships with third party payers
• Function as a liaison between facility and managed care/insurance company
