Fundamental in Las Vegas seeks a Temporay Case Manager for a 6-week temporary assignment. You will oversee case management duties, coordinate with payers, and ensure appropriate utilization of services.

A current RN/LPN license is preferred, with the expectation of strong organizational skills and reliable transportation. The role emphasizes collaboration with facilities and insurance providers to review medical necessity and discharge planning, while maintaining relationships with third-party

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of case management experience.
• RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing with the state (as required) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree (in a health-related field is preferred).
• Case Management Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage benefit, utilization of services and resources.
• Review to determine appropriateness and medical necessity, continued stay and the use of ancillary services using concurrent review process.
• Work effectively developing, enhancing and maintaining relationships with third party payers.
• Function as a liaison between facility and managed care/ insurance company.
