Job summary

University of the Pacific invites applications for the Pacific Community Music School Instructor (Temporary Employee Pool) on the Stockton campus. The instructor will provide both private and group lessons and teach music theory/musicianship while maintaining an active studio throughout the year.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and teaching experience, with preference for three years of documented teaching and demonstrated commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance.
• One year of teaching experience.
• Three years of documented teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices.
