Job summary

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a Boiler Maintenance technician for a temporary full-time role on the first shift (Saturday and Sunday) from December 1 through March 31 in Wyndmoor, PA. The successful candidate will maintain, test, modify, adjust and repair boilers and related equipment, operate boilers, and ensure steam pressures, temperatures, and levels are within required ranges.

Job description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open fora temporary full-timeBoiler Maintenance for first shift Saturday - Sunday between December 1st and March 31st . The boiler maintenance will have the responsibility of maintaining, testing, modifying, adjusting and repairing boilers, and associated equipment. Additionally, the boiler maintenance position must operate the boilers. Steam pressures, water temperatures, and levels are to be maintained at all times, and all piping, electrical, and control systems are to be serviced and maintained. The boiler maintenance employee shall make all necessary repairs and adjustments to boiler and chiller equipment to correct reported or identified deficiencies and maintains required operations. Repairs and adjustments shall be made in accordance with equipment specifications and manufacturers' instructions.

Boiler Maintenance will inspect, maintain, test, modify, adjust and repair boiler related systems, and components at USDA ERRC. These activities include, but are not limited to:

• Recording systems operating conditions daily
