Job summary
The Building People, LLC, has a temporary full-time Boiler Maintenance position for first shift (Saturday-Sunday) in Pennsylvania. The role involves maintaining, testing, modifying, adjusting and repairing boilers and related equipment, operating boilers, and ensuring steam pressures, temperatures, and levels are kept within safe ranges.
You will inspect systems at USDA ERRC, perform repairs, document maintenance, and ensure compliance with manufacturer instructions.
Qualifications
- Clear background investigation required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High level boiler maintenance, troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Maintenance documentation completion and filing.
- Customer service skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; CMMS familiarity.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Record daily system operating conditions.
- Repair and replace boiler components as needed.
- Inspect and maintain piping, electrical and control systems.
- Grease, oil, and service motors and related equipment.
- Perform regular cleaning and housekeeping of equipment spaces.
- Ensure safe and economical operation by adjusting controls.
