Job summary

IMT Residential is seeking a Temporary Area Leasing Consultant for two properties in Houston. The role requires weekend availability and bilingual English/Spanish communication. You will guide prospective residents from inquiry to move-in, ensuring high-quality service and home-like community experiences.

Primary site is 5401 Chimney Rock with support at Pavilion Place. Candidates should have leasing or sales/customer service experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and customer service; apartment leasing a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends and in a high-volume environment.
• College education helpful; valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Lease available apartments to residents.
• Assist residents and provide outstanding customer service.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and renew leases.
• Stay informed on Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Ensure property site conditions are impeccable.
• Assist with market research and outreach marketing.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by the Community Manager.

Position Overview

IMT Residential is hiring a Temporary Area Leasing Consultant for 5401 Chimney Rock, 970-unit community and Pavilion Place, a 1006-unit community, located in Houston. This is a full-time, bilingual (English/Spanish) position that requires weekend availability, including Saturdays and Sundays. This position will primarily be at 5401 Chimney Rock, with assistance at Pavilion Place.

Position Details

As a Temporary Area Leasing Consultant, you will guide people through the process of becoming a resident from the time they inquire about living with us to the time they move in. You will continue the relationship by taking care of their needs to ensure a high quality of community living and feeling of home.

• Lease available apartments
• Assist residents and provide outstanding customer service
• Build lasting relationships with residents
• Renew existing leases
• Stay abreast of Fair Housing laws and regulations
• Ensure property site conditions are impeccable
• Conduct market research and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional program
• Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Community Manager

Requirements

• Sales and customer service experience; apartment leasing experience is a plus
• The ability to connect with a variety of people
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsMotivation to succeed driven by your desire to meet or exceed goals and earn incentives based on your performance
• The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
• The ability to work well independently as well as within a team setting
• A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
• College education helpful
• Availability to work weekends because that is when many customers need you
• Active and valid driver license is required
