Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for service.
• Prepare a variety of foods including various side dishes.
• Prepare sauces and garnishes.
• Cover, label, date, and correctly store all food items as per safe food-handling procedures.
• Inform chef in advance of likely shortages.
• Check food plating, temperature, and portions for all dishes.
• Sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of your shift.
• Monitor stock and place orders, as needed.
• Set up sanitizer buckets and towels for station.
• Temperature checks for all coolers.
• Set up rubber floor mats at station.
• Tastings with team members.
• Disinfect prep surface areas.
• Sweep and mop designated areas.
• Sweep and mop walk in cooler and dry storage area.
• Ensure all products are labeled correctly in the walk-in cooler.

You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School/GED or higher education preferred
• 1+ year(s) of experience in high-paced kitchen environment preferred
• Knowledge in various cooking ingredients preferred
• Must know how to clean, sharpen, maintain kitchen knives
• Familiar with the taste of authentic Korean food preferred
