Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support a middle school caseload in Tempe, AZ for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting October 13, 2026, with pay of $60–65+ per hour (W-2).

You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, and provide direct therapy while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Arizona Department of Health Services State Speech Language Pathology License required.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for referred students.
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations and reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students eligible for special education.
• Participate in special education meetings and parent/teacher conferences.
• Provide classroom consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Serve as a case manager for designated special education students.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MET) meetings.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
• Review and maintain speech-language-related paperwork.
• Attend monthly speech-language meetings.
• Validate outside diagnostic evaluations and program recommendations.
• Participate in in-service activities related to speech and language therapy.
• Register as a Medicaid provider and maintain required Medicaid records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
