Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse associate to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using a forklift. You will work on the warehouse floor under supervision, addressing simple issues and maintaining safety standards.

The role involves manual handling, packing, and basic inventory tasks. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, selecting and packaging orders, and performing cycle counts while adhering to health, safety, and 6S initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read/write French).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 ft.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Safety-minded attitude is essential.
• Preferred: basic computer skills and familiarity with database/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product per inventory plan.
• Selects product to fill customer orders and packages them properly.

Job Summary

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.

Key Accountabilities:

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
