PeopleShare by PROMAN in Yorktown, VA, is seeking a Welder/Fabrication Technician for a temp-to-hire role. The position offers a $25/hr+ pay rate with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks.

Responsibilities include welding/fabrication per specs, operating band saws and shop machinery, reading drawings, assisting with pump system assemblies, and supporting packing/shipping as needed.

Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read measuring devices and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Safety-first mindset and rule-following attitude.
• Forklift experience not required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Perform welding and fabrication work per production specs.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including band saws and other shop machinery.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
• Assist with assembly and prep of industrial pump systems and components.
• Support crating and packaging for shipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Collaborate effectively within a visible production team.
