Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our Waynesboro, PA facility. This role requires reading blueprints, and fabricating to precise specifications, with MIG/GMAW and FCAW welding on various metals. The position is a contract-to-hire, onsite, with a first shift 6am-2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct welding.
• Experience with MIG/GMAW and FCAW welding on multiple metals.
• Ability to operate cranes and forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints from various sites and weld accordingly.
• Layout and fit parts prior to tacking and welding.
• Use MIG/GMAW or FCAW welding on mild steel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel.
• Grind and polish welds to ensure cleanliness for inspection.
• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, hoists, and sit-down forklifts.
