Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience welding steel structures, enclosures, or sheet metal components preferred.
• Ability to inspect welds and identify defects or quality issues.
• Experience with grinders, sanders, and fabrication tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and carbon steel components used in custom fabrication and enclosure manufacturing.
• Occasionally perform TIG and stick welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to complete welds to customer requirements.
• Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and components according to project specifications.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, bead size, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications.
• Grind, sand, and finish welds as necessary to meet appearance and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am (four 10-hour shifts)
• Direct hire opportunity from day one.
• High School Diploma/GED not required.
• No drug screening required.
• Background check conducted, but no sex offense convictions accepted.
