Job summary

Onward Search and its manufacturing client seek a Hand Welder for on-site work in Two Rivers. The role is temp-to-perm, located in a fast-paced industrial setting, offering growth in welding skills within a dynamic team.

The position involves 4 ten-hour shifts (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM), Monday through Thursday, in a on-site environment ready for a dedicated welder with 1–3 years of experience. Safety and quality are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years welding experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficient MIG/TIG welding on different metals.
• Skilled with precision measuring tools and weld inspection techniques.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Weld tubing and related components to high-quality standards across materials.
• Read blueprints, welding symbols, work orders, and drawings to determine weld locations and techniques.
• Prepare, align, and fixture hydraulic tube assemblies prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for defects and perform dimensional checks.
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment; follow safety procedures; participate in process improvements.

We’re partnering with our client, a manufacturing company, to find a Hand Welder for their on-site team. This Temp to Perm role is based on-site and involves working in a fast-paced industrial environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop welding skills within a dynamic team.

Two Rivers | 4 ten-hour shifts (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Monday -Thursdays

Hand Welder Responsibilities:

• Welding tubing and related components, ensuring high-quality results across various materials.
• Reading blueprints, welding symbols, work orders, and manufacturing drawings to identify weld locations and techniques.
• Preparing, aligning, and fixture hydraulic tube assemblies prior to welding.
• Inspecting completed welds for defects such as cracks or porosity and performing dimensional checks.
• Maintaining and calibrating welding equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and participating in process improvement initiatives.

Hand Welder Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficient in MIG/TIG welding on different metals.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools and performing weld inspections.
• Reliable with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
