Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking a Staff Recruiter to support corporate staffing efforts for project manpower in an in-office, full-time role. The position runs on a temporary-to-hire basis and reports to the HR Manager.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting, partner with managers to fulfill staffing across multiple business lines, and drive diverse talent initiatives while coordinating interviews, travel, and candidate communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate staffing / recruiting in the Midstream oil and gas industry, heavy industrial construction, engineering and related fields.
• Office-based in Odessa TX to support staffing needs.
• Ability to recruit at all levels from entry to engineering, PM and exec.
• Strong interviewing and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting process for assigned staff/corp staffing needs.
• Work with managers to understand and meet staffing needs across business lines.
• Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in multi-site operations.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure job requirements are clear.
• Track and report key metrics to measure staffing activity.
• Follow up with hiring managers, project managers and candidates to ensure efficient interview process.
• Screen candidates for competencies and position requirements as needed.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate travel.
• Participate in career events and career fairs as required.
• Maintain database information relative to assigned positions and perform HR duties as assigned.

Location: Odessa, TX Type: Full time – Not Remote – In Office General Information/Job Summary Reporting to the HR Manager – Staff Recruiter is responsible for supplementing the Staff / Corporate staffing efforts in accordance with project manpower and company needs. Also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, as well as successfully filling roles for the projects. Position is on a temporary to hire basis.

Responsibilities/Competencies

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting process for assigned staff/corp staffing needs.
• Work with managers to understand and meet the staffing needs for the various business lines
• Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in multi-site operations
• Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood
• Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity for the project/projects.
• Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers, project managers and candidates to ensure efficient interview and recruiting process
• Screen candidates for necessary job competencies and position requirements when needed
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate travel as needed
• Actively participate in career events, career fairs when required
• Maintain database information relative to assigned positions, Perform HR related duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 3+ years of corporate staffing / recruiting related to the Midstream oil and gas industry, heavy industrial construction, engineering and related fields.
• Ability to work in office environment – Odessa TX.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level positions to engineering, project management and executive level positions.
• Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience
• Clear understanding of the recruitment lifecycle process
• Understanding of applicable laws regarding employment selection
• Strong time management skills
• Strong experience in utilizing recruiting resources such as LinkedIn, indeed, various job boards.
• Also versed in the use of social media to recruit.
• Ability to meet the attendance and punctuality requirements
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
• Strong background in conducting active recruiting with the proven ability to identify candidates across various markets in competitive industries
• Experience in general HR functions is preferred
